The Annapurna Circuit is a renowned trekking route in the majestic Himalayas of Nepal, offering a breathtaking journey through diverse landscapes and cultural experiences. Embark on a 17-day adventure through the Annapurna Circuit, beginning in Kathmandu and traversing diverse landscapes and cultural gems. The journey includes a scenic road trip to Chame, the administrative center of Manang district, and continues to Upper Pisang, renowned for its panoramic views and Tibetan-style architecture. Explore Braga's ancient monastery and trek to the revered Milarepa Cave before reaching the unspoiled village of Khangsar. The trail ascends to Tilicho Base Camp, leading to the spectacular Tilicho Lake, one of the world's highest. Continue through Yak Kharka and High Camp before conquering the Thorong La Pass at 5,416m, reaching the sacred Muktinath. Descend to Kagbeni and conclude the trek with a drive to the serene city of Pokhara. Enjoy a rest day exploring Pokhara's attractions and engaging in optional activities. The journey concludes with a visit to a local beer factory and a return to Kathmandu for sightseeing and a traditional executive dinner before departing home on day 17.

Day 1

Kathmandu

● Altitude: Kathmandu (1,200m)
● Receive from the international airport and transfer to your Hotel.
● Meet and greet

Day 2

Kathmandu to Chame

● Altitude: Kathmandu (1,200m) to Chame (2,670m)
● Travel Time: Approximately 12 hours by road
● Note: Chame is the administrative center of Manang district, known for its hot
springs and spectacular views of Annapurna and Lamjung Himal.

Day 3

Chame to Upper Pisang

● Altitude: Upper Pisang (3,300m)
● Trekking Time: Approximately 6 hours
● Note: Upper Pisang offers panoramic views of the Annapurna range and features
traditional Tibetan-style architecture.

Day 4

Upper Pisang to Braga

● Altitude: Braga (3,475m)
● Trekking Time: Approximately 6 hours
● Note: Braga is famous for its ancient gompa (monastery) and traditional stone
houses.

Day 5

Braga to Milarepa Cave to Braga

● Altitude: Milarepa Cave (4,000m)
● Trekking Time: 6 hours round trip
● Note: The Milarepa Cave is a revered meditation site, associated with the
legendary Tibetan yogi, Milarepa.

Day 6

Braga to Khangsar

● Altitude: Khangsar (3,745m)
● Trekking Time: Approximately 4 hours
● Note: Khangsar is an unspoiled village with a unique culture, offering a glimpse into traditional Himalayan life.

Day 7

Khangsar to Tilicho Base Camp

● Altitude: Tilicho Base Camp (4,150m)
● Trekking Time: Approximately 5-6 hours
● Note: The trail offers stunning views and leads to the foot of Tilicho Peak.

Day 8

Tilicho Base Camp to Tilicho Lake to Shree Kharka

● Altitude: Tilicho Lake (4,949m)
● Trekking Time: 6-7 hours round trip
● Note: Tilicho Lake is one of the highest lakes in the world, set in a spectacular natural amphitheater.

Day 9

Shree Kharka to Yak Kharka

● Altitude: Yak Kharka (4,050m)
● Trekking Time: Approximately 5 hours
● Note: Yak Kharka is a small settlement known for its herds of yaks and stunning mountain views.

Day 10

Yak Kharka to High Camp

● Altitude: High Camp (4,850m)
● Trekking Time: Approximately 4-5 hours
● Note: High Camp is the last stop before crossing the Thorong La Pass, offering breathtaking mountain vistas.

Day 11

High Camp to Muktinath

● Altitude: Thorong La Pass (5,416m), Muktinath (3,800m)
● Trekking Time: Approximately 7-8 hours
● Note: Muktinath is a sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists, featuring the
Muktinath Temple and eternal flame.

Day 12

Muktinath to Kagbeni

● Altitude: Kagbeni (2,800m)
● Trekking Time: Approximately 3 hours
● Note: Kagbeni, at the entry of Upper Mustang, offers medieval architecture and a
glimpse into Tibetan culture.

Day 13

Kagbeni to Pokhara

● Altitude: Pokhara (830m)
● Travel Time: Drive (8-9 hours)
● Note: Pokhara is a serene city with lakes, caves, and a stunning backdrop of the
Annapurna range.

Day 14

Rest/Activity Day in Pokhara

● Note: Explore Pokhara’s attractions like Phewa Lake, the World Peace Pagoda,
and the International Mountain Museum or activities like paragliding, bungee
jumping, downhill mountain biking and many more.

Day 15

Pokhara to Kathmandu in between Visit Beer Factory Visit optional

● Altitude: Kathmandu (1,400m)
● Travel Time: Approximately 8 hours by road
● Note: The beer factory visit offers an insight into local brewing methods and
Nepalese beer culture.

Day 16

Kathmandu Rest, half-day Sightseeing, and traditional executive Dinner

● Note: Visit historical sites like Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath.

Day 17

Fly Back Home

● Kathmandu - Besisahar delux bus, besisahar to chame, private 4 wheel drive.
● Kagbeni to Pokhara to Kathmandu private jeep/4 wheel drive/van.
● 2 Night twin-sharing/double accommodation in a 3-star hotel or similar standard for two
nights in Kathmandu, including breakfast (Private room accommodation can be
organized at an extra cost), 2 nights tourist standard Twin-sharing hotel in Pokhara with
breakfast, (Private room accommodation can be organized at an extra cost).
● Permits for Annapurna Conservation Area Project and TIMS (Trekkers' Information
