Day 2 Trek to Lama Hotel

Today, after breakfast, as our Langtang Valley trek begins, the trail gradually ascends through the scenic forest to Landslide (1810m). It continues with a gentle rise to Bamboo (1960m) through to Rimche (2400m), where we cross the Langtang Khola and begin the steep ascent to the lovely Lama Hotel, a popular meeting point for trekkers, hidden deep within the dense primordial forest.

Day 3 Trek to Langtang Village

Today, as we continue following the Langtang Valley trekking route, we pass through green oak, pine, and rhododendron forest with waterfalls along the way.

Our first glimpse of the Langtang Himalaya comes when we reach the lush green meadows of Ghoda Tabela. Continuing, the valley gradually widens, and we arrive at our destination – Langtang village, one the most significant towns on our trek, still rebuilding from the 2015 earthquakes.

Day 4 Trek to Kyanjin Gompa

Today, as our 8-day Langtang Valley trek continues, the trail climbs gradually through quaint villages and rolling green pastures. Trekking onward, the valley opens before us, offering breathtaking views of Kyanjin and a long dramatic look back over the Langtang Valley. Named after the centuries-old Buddhist monastery Kyanjin Gompa, the village of Kyanjin, surrounded by snowcapped mountains, is the perfect resting point for trekkers and offers an abundance of side trips for exploring.
