The trip begins with arrival in Kathmandu on Day 1. After a day of preparation and sightseeing, you fly to Pokhara and drive to the trekking start point. You trek for 3 days reaching Annapurna Base Camp, spend 1 day there, and return by helicopter to Pokhara. The next day, you fly back to Kathmandu for your departure on Day 8.

You need two major permits: the Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) and a Trekkers' Information Management System (TIMS) card. These permits are easily arranged before or upon arrival in Kathmandu.
